I was going to mark this friends-only because I was feeling shy, but I've just decided screw it .  It may be TMI (she talks about sex!  gasp!!!)  So I'll put it behind a cut.

It may sound like I'm writing more than I'm re-ing right now, and this would be because that's what's happening.  Back a few months ago I think there was this period that I panic-blogged saying, "This isn't making sense.  I think this is all half-mad."  Turns out?  This part was.  But it gave me good stuff for the end, which will be much less re and more just shaping, with just a TEENSY writing bit here and there, but right here, I have to recreate eight through ten out of whole cloth.  And today I caved and pulled out all the insane scenes, keeping them out of the draft folder but still handy so I can grab bits that will still work.  I will be working hard to get through ten by tomorrow evening, but we'll see.  I promised to take somebody to the pool, too.

Good news on the stats, though: 105,904 revised out of an overall total of 147,893.  I'm currently 3k SHORT!!!!  Except that's with chapters nine and ten mostly empty.  So, that'll go up.  But it's so nice to not see nearly 180K with six chapters left to hone.

I am less enthusiastic of DW S4 EP12 than I was last night.  I can't believe I'm saying it, but I'm glad RTD called it quits.  I am doubting his ability to have new ideas on that show, and the over-emo/reunion of the masses can stop. 

And That Character Whom I Love is barely in character, and it ain't the actress doing it.  Shame.  Shame.
